You will be picked up in a luxury and safe mini bus from Johannesburg and returned as such as well. On Safari you will have the best view to spot the Big 5 in 4 x 4 open but roofed vehicle.
Itinerary for the 4 Day Luxury Tented Lodge in Greater Kruger
Day 1: Johannesburg to Tremisana Game Lodge
Pickup from your guest house, Lodge, hotel or OR Tambo international airport in Johannesburg and travel in an air conditioned Quantum minivan to Tremisana Game Lodge in Balule Private Game Reserve. Enjoy a 4 hour sunset drive in the afternoon after settling in. Dinner will be an unforgettable bush braai at our incomparable Marula boma, deep in the African bush. Overnight at Tremisana Lodge.
Day 2: Tremisana Game Lodge to Katekani Tented Lodge
Early morning coffee and light snacks such as muffins before we drive to the Olifants River for an amazing 4 hour bush walk with armed and experienced rangers. You will learn about the smaller denizens of the bush and will learn about tracking and spoor identification. Adrenalin levels will be high as signs of the presence of the Big Five is everywhere. Return to Tremisana for brunch.
You will then be transferred to the brand-new Katekani Tented Lodge. Lunch will be served in the Lapa and after a rest or swim in your private splash pool, we go to Tshukudu Private Game Reserve for a 3 hour Big Five Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at Katekani.
Day 3: Full day game drive in Kruger Park
After breakfast, you drive on an open Game Viewer to the Orpen gate of Kruger Park. You will have a full day of game viewing and bird watching in this world-renowned game reserve. Lunch will be at own expense at a restaurant in the Kruger National Park. Return to Katekani for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Johannesburg via Blyde River Canyon
You go on a short morning walk with an armed ranger. After breakfast, we travel to the Blyde River Canyon with a stop at the Three Rondawels.
Return to Johannesburg and surrounds at around 17:00 to 17:30 pm. Airport or post accommodation drop off by arrangement.

It is important to note that this is not a private safari and more than likely there will be other guests joining you on the game drive vehicles, air-conditioned mini bus transfer vehicles as well as in the dining facility.
The child policies vary from lodge to lodge. Some lodges do not accept children under 12 at all, while others gladly accept children but do not allow younger children on the open game drive vehicles for safety reasons. These lodges offer babysitting services at a nominal extra charge. Please be sure to enquire about this before making your reservation.
Airport pickup is between 7:00 – 8:30 from hotels and guest houses around OR Tambo – Please consult us about where to book pre- and post-accommodation. We also arrange transfers from and to Skukuza and KMIA airports, for more information please consult your Travel Experience Designer.
Guests flying out of OR Tambo Airport on the last day are reminded to not book any flights earlier than 19h00 (domestic) or 20h00 (international) in order to give us enough time to get you to the airport. We recommend that you rather stay over in Johannesburg if possible. Since we cannot guarantee our arrival time in Johannesburg on the last day we will not be held responsible for reimbursements of flight tickets, should we arrive later than expected. Guests flying out of Nelspruit on the last day may, depending on their flight details, not have enough time to see the Panorama Route. Private transfers for guests with early flights can be arranged in advance at an extra charge.
