Itinerary for the 4 Day Kruger and Sabi Sand Combo Safari

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger Park
Start the day early on this intimate small group safari (less than 10 people) from booked accommodations in Johannesburg (the arranged professional pick-up driver will take guests to the shuttle pick-up point).

The included shuttle from Johannesburg to Kruger Park leaves either at 6:45 am from the OR Tambo bus terminal behind the Intercontinental Hotel.

Alternatively, we do collect from Nelspruit airport at 13:15 pm and Skukuza Airport (at any time). This provides flexibility to get to the safari.

A scenic drive with fantastic photographic opportunities takes us though the escarpment and the lowveld to the Kruger National Park (when taking the shuttle service from Johannesburg). We advise guests to buy take-out meals at the standard road stop (for their own account).

You will be transferred to your exclusive Sabi Sand Lodge from Skukuza.

Throughout the day, it’s likely you will see wildlife around the lodge – nyala antelope and vervet monkeys are frequent visitors, though seeing some of the Big Five is also not uncommon. You are welcome to relax in your room or at the pool. You could also opt for an experience an African Spa Treatment, imagine doing this while viewing Elephants at a distance.

The afternoon drive extends into the evening and you will be spoiled when stopping to enjoy some sun-downer refreshments.

Your guide will assist with a spotlight so that you may view the African Wildlife during the night activities.

Meals are an extraordinary culinary experience where Traditional African Cuisine fuse effortlessly with Modern Trends. Vegetarians and other dietary requirements also are specially catered for.

Overnight at the Sabi Sand Luxury Lodge.
