Enjoy a Wildlife safari in The Kruger National Park which has an estimated 1,500 lion, 12,000 elephant, 2,500 buffalo, 1,000 leopards and 5,000 rhino (black and white), hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, warthog and many antelope species. Large carnivores include lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena. There are also many smaller mammals (approximately 145 mammal species) and birds.
One breathtaking view after another are included within the Kruger Park Tours Panorama Route. You will swept away by scenic mountains, sky, forests and the Blyde River Canyon, one of the world’s largest canyons, with the Three Rondavels, Lisbon Falls, and God’s Window. Mouth-watering breakfasts and three-course al fresco dinners, (weather permitting). Exchange thoughts, experiences, and opinions with fellow travelers, share pictures and wine while listening to the crackling of the camp fire and Wildlife sounds of the night.

This wildlife safari by Kruger Park Tours offers accommodation is in en-suite 3-Star round hut chalet with beds, linen, towels, soap, a small fridge, air conditioning and mosquito proofing on the doors and windows. On one of the mornings (not applicable on the 2-day safari), you have the option of visiting attractions along the Panorama Route instead of joining the morning game drive.
Guests are transported safe and comfortable vehicles to the Kruger National Park as well as in open but roofed safari vehicles which allows for ultimate viewing pleasure of the African Wildlife.
Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger Park
We leave from Johannesburg in the early morning and on-route you will be amazed by grassland, wetland and woodland areas outside Witbank or eMalahleni as Kruger Park Tours takes you through the Highveld to the scenic Lowveld Area.
Pick-up will be between 6h00 AM and 8h00 AM in any part of Johannesburg and for pick-up at Nelspruit Airport it wil be at 12h00 PM. Please do ensure that your local flight to Nelspruit Airport lands at 11h30 AM and 9h00 AM for international flights so that you will be on time for pick-up.
Your first sunset Safari game drive hosted by SANParks starts after you have settled into your wildlife safari accommodation. A sunset drive affords you the opportunity to see animals at night. As this is not a private game drive, you will be given the opportunity to meet other interesting guests of the Kruger Park. You might return after normal rest camp closing times because the SANParks rangers has this privilege. (Children under 6 years of age are unfortunately not permitted on open SANParks vehicles)
A supreme three-course dinner with unlimited wine will be served under the stars (al fresco). Guests are welcome to bring along additional and/or alternative drinks available at the Kruger National Park Shop.
Day 2 & 3: Full day in the Kruger Park Early morning tea, coffee, muffins and fruit are served before departing on the morning game drive of 3-4 hours. Groups are driven by highly experienced game rangers who will also give clients the history and background of the Kruger National Park and a full run down of the animals, trees and plants met on the drive.
Brunch will be served once returned from the morning game drive. In your wildlife safari rest camp you will find museums, restaurants, shops, a post office, a bank, a doctor and a laundromat.
After exploring your wildlife safari rest camp for the day you will join us for the afternoon game drive in an open but roofed Safari 4×4 vehicle so that you can have the best view of African Wildlife. When back in camp, you will be spoiled to perfection with dinner and unlimited wine. Around the camp fire you will share ranger stories of mysterious entries into what was inevitably happening daily in the bush.

Panorama Route (Optional Excursion) This offer is only available on day two of your Kruger Park Tours wildlife safari, at no extra charge. This activity however starts after breakfast/brunch (you will still have a morning game drive) and only available if you are staying 3 days or longer. The Kruger National Park Panorama Route is known for its cultural heritage and spectacular landscapes. Lunch will be enjoyed in one of the small towns en-route (own expense). Visit the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and God’s Window. Our staff will ask you if you want to join this activity.
Day 4: Kruger Park to Johannesburg If any animals eluded you this far, this is your last chance and day with Kruger Park Tours’ wildlife safari on the morning game drive. The last change to capture the Big 5 on camera and collect memories of African Wildlife. After breakfast we will return you to Johannesburg. The drive back takes 6 hours and guests are advised to rather stay over in Johannesburg. This will ease the pressure of you missing a flight back home. You will arrive in Johannesburg between 17h00 PM and 18h00 PM. Please note that a local flight takes 2 hours for check in and 3 hours for international flights. Drop-off at Nelspruit Airport will be at 13h30 PM latest, please book flights accordingly.

Kruger Park Tours Safaris first and foremost utilizes the facilities and accommodation situated inside the Kruger National Park.
Note this is not a private wildlife safari and thus it is very likely that other guests will join you on the game drives, air-conditioned mini bus as well as in the dining facility.
Also, note that the sunset game drive times are conducted by SANparks and their game rangers, in SANParks vehicles, subject to change and availability on the day. Again, most likely, other guests will join you on this game drive. Children under 6 years of age are not allowed on SANParks open game drive vehicles.
Yet, children are welcome on Kruger Park Tours Game drives. We do not offer babysitting and thus it is the responsibility of the parents to care for their children. Private game drives can be arranged at an extra charge.
You are reminded not to book flights leaving from OR Tambo Airport on the last day earlier than 20h00 (domestic) or 21h00 (international). We highly recommend that you rather stay over in Johannesburg on the last day of your Safari. Kruger Park Tours will not be held responsible for reimbursements of missed flight tickets.
Pick-up at Nelspruit Airport is at 12h00 pm. Check out is 2 hours on a local fight and 3 hours on international flights. Guests flying out of Nelspruit on the last day, should book flight to depart not earlier than 14h00 pm for local flights and 15h00 for international flights.
